Who this site is for

Hunter Grey arranges finance for limited companies, SPVs and corporate borrowers, and works with landowners and businesses on development. The site is aimed at businesses, not consumers, and we ask you not to send us personal data about anyone under 18.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form we collect the details you give us, typically your name, company name, email address, phone number, and whatever you tell us about your property, scheme or requirement. We also collect limited technical and usage data automatically through analytics (see our Cookies policy). We do not ask for, or want, special-category data through this site.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide our services: on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in dealing with business enquiries.
  • To arrange finance where you ask us to: which may involve sharing your details with lenders, and where relevant with introducers, professional advisers and referencing or fraud-prevention agencies, on the basis of our legitimate interest and, where required, your consent.
  • To improve and secure the website: on the basis of our legitimate interest in a working, secure site, using analytics as described in the Cookies policy.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations: where the law requires us to keep or disclose records.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only as needed to do what you have asked: with lenders and finance providers when arranging finance, and with introducers or professional advisers connected to your enquiry. We also use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Netlify hosts this website and processes the enquiry forms. When you submit a form, your details pass through Netlify to reach us.
  • Microsoft provides our email (Outlook / Microsoft 365), so when you email us or we reply, that correspondence is processed by Microsoft. Microsoft also provides Microsoft Clarity, the analytics tool described in our Cookies policy.

We may disclose data where required by law. We do not sell your data.

International transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the appropriate safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and after that only as long as we have a legitimate or legal reason to, after which we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to data portability, in each case subject to the legal limits that apply. To exercise any of these, email info@huntergrey.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we would ask you to raise it with us first so we can put it right.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
