The people behind Hunter Grey.
A property development and property finance house working across the North West. Small team, long track record, and the same names on every deal.
Two things, done by the same people.
Hunter Grey does two things. We develop property, residential-led schemes across the North West, and we arrange property finance for limited companies and corporate borrowers. 22 years of delivery behind us.
Those two sides sit together for a reason. Building forces you to understand how development is really funded, drawn down and repaid, and arranging finance keeps you honest about what a scheme can actually carry. Each makes us better at the other.
It also creates a conflict we'd rather name than hide: we're sometimes a developer who might partner with you, and sometimes a broker who might fund you. Where those roles meet, we tell you which hat we're wearing and we tell you to take independent advice. It's a small thing to say and most firms in our position don't say it.
We're not a call centre and we're not a fund with a marketing department. The people below are the people you deal with.
If you are a broker, agent or accountant with clients who need what we do, we pay referral fees and we are straightforward about how they work. Introducers →
Who you'll actually deal with.
The same names run the development side and the finance side. When you call, you reach one of these people, not a queue.

Whether it is supplementing retirement income, repaying an existing mortgage, helping family onto the property ladder, funding home improvements or simply enjoying more financial freedom in retirement, he gives clear, straightforward advice tailored to each client's circumstances. Known for his personal approach and long-term client relationships, Brian believes later-life lending does not need to feel complicated. His focus is on making sure clients fully understand their options, the benefits and the implications, and feel comfortable with every decision they make.
Brian gives his equity release advice through a separate FCA-authorised firm, not through Hunter Grey. Hunter Grey is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and does not give regulated advice: the advice, the recommendation and the suitability assessment sit with that firm. Equity release →
